Responsible Travel Policy

Lux Crafter’s Responsible Travel Policy sets out the principles and operational standards that govern how we design, manage, and deliver inbound travel experiences across India.
It defines our approach to partner selection, itinerary planning, guest conduct, community engagement, environmental responsibility, and risk management, ensuring that responsibility is embedded into everyday decision-making.
The policy applies across our operations and supply chain and informs how we work with accommodation providers, transport partners, guides, and local stakeholders. It is reviewed periodically to remain aligned with regulatory requirements, operational learning, and recognised best practices in responsible travel.

Stewardship in Action

The initiatives below demonstrate how our Responsible Travel Policy is translated into practical action across operations, partnerships, and on-ground delivery. Stewardship is embedded in real-world practice, from supplier engagement and risk management to cultural integrity, environmental responsibility, and community interaction.

These principles are integrated into how journeys are designed, partners are selected, and experiences are delivered, and are aligned with recognised sustainability frameworks, including our Travelife Partner Recognition.

This reflects our commitment to social and environmental sustainability through compliance with more than 100 sustainability criteria covering sustainability management, office operations, supplier engagement, and customer communication, while we continue progressing towards the Travelife Certified stage.

Travelife is a three-stage certification program for tour operators and travel agents:
Stage 1: Travelife Engaged;
Stage 2: Travelife Partner (Current Status)
