Essential Travel & Safety Information

  • Visa & Entry Compliance
    Ensure you possess a valid visa matching the purpose of your visit (tourist, business, medical, etc.). Carry photocopies or digital copies of your passport and visa at all times for verification and security purposes.
  • Mobile Connectivity & SIM Cards
    Purchase SIM cards only from authorized telecom stores at airports or official outlets (Airtel, Jio, BSNL) or from Lux Crafter’s ground staffs. Passport and visa copies are mandatory for registration. Avoid purchasing SIM cards from street vendors or unauthorized agents.
  • Water & Food Safety
    Drink only filtered, or RO-purified water from reliable sources. Verify that the bottle seal is intact. Avoid tap water, ice from unknown sources, and raw or unhygienic street food in unfamiliar areas.
  • Approaching Police or Emergency Services
    In the event of distress, theft, or safety concerns, contact:
    112 – National Emergency,
    100 – Police,
    108 – Medical emergency,
    1098 – Child helpline,
    1091 – Women safety helpline.
    Seek assistance only from uniformed officers at police stations or official checkpoints. Request a written copy of any complaint filed (FIR / CSR receipt).
  • Use of Licensed Tourism Services
    Lux Crafter engage only registered and certified accommodation providers, guides, and transport operators. Verification credentials should be displayed or available on request.

  • Respect local culture, dress standards, and temple etiquette.
  • Ask permission before photographing individuals, children, or religious activities.

  • Conserve water and energy resources; dispose of waste responsibly.
  • Follow instructions from certified guides and authorities during excursions.
  • Stay informed about local customs, weather conditions, and travel advisories.

Don’ts

  • Do not carry large sums of cash openly or leave valuables unattended.
  • Do not buy, sell, or transport prohibited wildlife, antiquities, or cultural artifacts.
  • Do not give money directly to children or street beggars.
  • Do not participate in activities involving animal abuse or unethical wildlife interactions.
  • Do not smoke, drink alcohol, or engage in inappropriate behaviour at religious sites.
  • Do not travel alone late at night in isolated areas.

  • Stay on marked trails, particularly in protected or rural landscapes.
